I am so grateful to be joining the CCS team this year filling a new role as the first school nurse. I graduated in 2014 from Pensacola Christian College where I received my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Most of my nursing experience has been in the hospital setting at Atrium Health Lincoln where I continue to work even now as needed. In 2022, I entered the world of school nursing in Gaston County which allowed for more flexibility in our growing family’s schedule. My husband and I have been licensed foster parents since 2019, and the members of our family are ever changing. Raising children and cattle on our ranch is a sweet season to be in the midst of—one we prayed for for years. Getting to also be on staff where our children attend school is another answered prayer. What a great place CCS is for families! Know that I will do my best this year to make sure your student feels seen, heard, and supported when he has spent time in my office. Our physical health affects our body as a whole, and I am passionate about bringing awareness to the interconnected of our bodies.
