Hello! I am quite excited to begin not only my second year teaching, but my second year here at Community Charter! I graduated with a B.A. in History and Minor of Education from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte in 2024. I feel my perspective on education can be best described by the Benjamin Franklin quote, "An investment in knowledge pays the best interest." By truly dedicating themselves to their education, students build critical and life-long skills that will continue to serve them after they've left the classroom, no matter what path they choose to walk in life.

Outside of school, I am deeply passionate about wildlife conservation, with a particular focus on Madagascar's endemic primate species — lemurs! I have previously volunteered at the Lemur Conservation Foundation’s reserve in Florida, and in the years since I regularly support efforts closer to home through donations and animal adoptions at the Duke Lemur Center in North Carolina.

I am so honored to continue to be a part of the Community Charter family and can't wait to partner with you to support your student's growth. I look forward to a wonderful year!
