Hi! My name is Nakira Heath, and I’m so excited to begin my fourth year as an educator! I graduated from East Carolina University in 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching students from a variety of backgrounds and abilities, and those experiences have strengthened my passion for creating a classroom where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

I believe that learning is a journey we take together. My goal is to create a classroom that feels like a second home, where every student feels safe to take risks, ask questions, and grow. Together, we’ll celebrate kindness, creativity, perseverance, and the unique strengths that make each child shine.
