Kindergarten

I’m a proud Pennsylvanian (go Steelers!) and a graduate of Grove City College, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I’ve called Mount Holly home since 2006, and this year marks my 7th year in education—and my 3rd year here at CCS. I’m truly honored to be a part of your child’s educational journey.

When I’m not teaching kindergarteners, I’m busy being “Mom” to two incredible boys. My oldest, who is autistic, has been my greatest teacher—he’s influenced not only my parenting but also the way I approach my classroom. At home, we’re kept on our toes by two furry family members, Tucker and Ginger, who think they run the house (and honestly, they might).

As a teacher, I’m passionate about multisensory learning and strongly believe in the power of play. After all, as Piaget reminds us, “Play is the work of children,” and as Montessori so wisely said, “What the hand does, the mind remembers.”

I feel incredibly grateful and blessed to be part of the CCS team—and I can’t wait for all the fun, learning, and adventures this year will bring!
