I am honored to be a 3rd grade teacher here at CCS. Having spent three of the past four years as an assistant in various grades and taking classes at UNCC, I cannot think of a better place to be. I have spent many years around kids and teenagers of all ages: from teaching many different Sunday School classes in church, working at a Preschool and being the oldest of 8 children, I have not wanted to run yet! I did get my Bachelor’s Degree and Teaching License for grades K-5 from UNCC in June 2025.

My husband, Brian, and I have been married for 13 years and blessed with our 3 wonderful daughters. Their differences remind me daily of the individuality each child has- they open my eyes often to things I otherwise miss in life. It is important to me that students gain confidence by taking pride in their growth and taking ownership in their education.
