I grew up in Mount Holly and graduated from East Gaston High School. I attended UNC-Chapel Hill (GO HEELS) for undergrad and UNC-Charlotte for a year (post-grad) to obtain my teaching license. For the past 11 years, I have been teaching high school in Gaston County. My licensure area is kind of broad! I have certifications in middle and high school English and Social Studies, as well as Elementary Education (k-6). My current position at CCS is 9th and 10th grade science. I love being a Trailblazer!!
