I am excited to begin my second year at Community Charter School, where I will be teaching 8th grade math. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2009 with a degree in Middle Grades Education, specializing in math and science. I have a strong passion for helping students reach those “aha” moments and truly understand the concepts they are learning. I am looking forward to continuing to support student growth and being part of the positive momentum at our school.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, including my husband and our four children. We love being outdoors, especially camping and hiking together. We are also big Charlotte FC fans and enjoy attending home games whenever we can.
