I graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Elementary Education and began my teaching career in teaching 5th grade, before moving to 1st grade. After finding my passion for both education and dance, I started teaching dance full-time and have had the privilege of building and growing the dance department at Community Charter School from the ground up.

Outside of the classroom, I danced professionally for the Charlotte Hornets for two seasons and am currently a Carolina Panthers TopCat. Every experience has strengthened my passion for mentoring young dancers and helping students grow in confidence, discipline, and character.

I have such a deep love for Community Charter School and the incredible students and families who make it so special. I can’t wait to see all that the 2026–2027 school year has in store!
