I just recently got married, changing my name to Mrs. Tittle—but around school, students call me Mrs. T! I danced in college at East Carolina University for four years, where I also received my degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, I immediately began teaching at CCS as a 5th grade teacher.

I later transitioned out of the classroom here to start our dance program, pouring 100% of myself into growing it. Since then, our dance program has accomplished so many amazing things, the biggest of which was entering—and WINNING—the Best Dance for National School Choice Week. Following that honor, I had the incredible opportunity to choreograph the next year’s National School Choice Week dance for schools all across the United States. The students and I were professionally filmed giving a tutorial for everyone to learn our dance. It was such an awesome opportunity!

Along with teaching and directing our program, I also dance professionally for the Charlotte Hornets. I’m grateful that I get to continue pursuing my passion while serving as an example for my students—reminding them that their dreams are always within reach and that with hard work, dedication, and belief in themselves, anything is possible.
