I am so excited to join this team at Community Charter School. I have been in education for over 33 years in both North and South Carolina. I have taught Special Education at all levels k-12. I have served in several administrative positions in my years here in NC; the last 21 years in Charter schools. I graduated with a BA in Special Education and a M.ED in Curriculum & Instruction. I strongly believe George Evans quote, " Every student can learn, just not on the same day or in the same way.”

I am married with 3 wonderful grown children. I enjoy the beach and spend as much time as I can there. Nothing is more relaxing than sitting on the beach with a good book.
