Teaching is my passion! I spent 30 years teaching in Gaston County Schools before joining Community Charter. I believe that every child can learn and grow. I graduated from UNC-Charlotte with an Elementary Education degree and I am certified to teach K-6th. I hold a NC and a SC teaching license. My husband Joel and I have been married for 25 years and have a 20 year old daughter that attends UNC-Charlotte. This is my second year at Community Charter School and I am beyond thrilled to be a part of the Trailblazer team! Teaching is an adventure for me and I am looking forward to a wonderful year with staff, students, and parents.
