I am so excited to be joining Community Charter this year as an Elementary EC teacher in the self-contained classroom! I have been teaching for 21 years and graduated from UNC Charlotte with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Adapted Curriculum.

I love spending time with my family. I live in Denver with my husband, Gabriel, and our daughter, Grace, who is a rising junior. Our older daughter, Brailey, lives in Chicago with her partner, Lindsey, and they just got engaged! We also share our home with three spoiled fur babies: Nina, the Boston Terrier, Bella, the Australian Shepherd, and Kai, the cat. In my free time, I love to read, stay active, and spend time outdoors. I am also currently learning to crochet, working toward fluency in sign language, and learning to play chess.
