My name is Shanti Grier, and I am a proud native of Charlotte, North Carolina. I am the mother of three wonderful boys who keep life exciting and rewarding.

I have been working in the field of education for the past 10 years and am currently serving as a Special Education Teacher. Helping students learn, grow, and reach their full potential is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my career.

My educational journey began at Belmont Abbey College, where I earned my undergraduate degree. I later earned my Master's degree in Special Education, and I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Reading and Literacy. Continuing my education allows me to better serve my students and remain committed to lifelong learning.

Outside of work and school, I enjoy spending time doing things that help me relax and recharge. I am a fan of both the Carolina Panthers and the New Orleans Saints. I also love ice skating and spending weekends watching a good Western movie.

I am excited to get to know each of you over the next few weeks. I look forward to learning together, building meaningful connections, and helping in any way that I can.
