I am so excited to be joining the Community Charter staff this year as a school counselor!

I graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences in 2013. After graduation, I taught middle school science for three years while earning my teaching license. I then attended University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where I earned my Master's degree in School Counseling in 2020. I have worked in education for over 10 years and have served as a school counselor for the past 8 years.

My husband and I have four wonderful children and two dogs. We love spending time with our family and extended family whenever possible. As lifelong residents of Gaston County, we are passionate about serving our local community through education. We are active in our church and enjoy being involved with our Village 127 community.

I look forward to getting to know the students, families, and staff at Community Charter and supporting our students as they learn, grow, and thrive!
