Born and raised in Gastonia, NC, I attended both Gaston College and UNC Charlotte. I earned both an Associate of Fine Arts Degree and a bachelor’s degree in Exceptional Children K-12. I am dual certified in NC to teach Art K-12 and Exceptional Children K-12. This is my 16-year teaching and 1st at Community Charter School, where I teach EC OCS and Inclusion Math and English. I also have coached both Middle and High School sports, including Baseball, Softball, Boys and Girls Soccer, and Football. In addition to working in education I have worked the past 5+ years in Minor League Baseball with The Gastonia Honey Hunters and currently The Gastonia Ghost Peppers of The Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. I enjoy doing all types of artwork and graphic design, including creating custom painted cleats for MLB and NFL players. I am excited to be part of the amazing team at Community Charter School and look forward to helping all students reach their greatest potential.
