This is my first year joining the CCS Team and I couldn't be happier! I’m 43 years old, married & we have a 15 ½ year old daughter named Bryna. We also have two lab puppies! I’m a member of Community Baptist Church in Dallas; I love family time & vacations, especially the beach! In 2007 I graduated from UNCC with a bachelor degree & hold an SPII Teaching License. Believe it or not this is my 24th year teaching & it will be my first year in Kindergarten. For 23 years I taught the NC Pre K program for GCS. I love building a good parent/teacher relationship with good open communication. In addition to teaching, I also serve as a Board Member for the B.H. Rowland Foundation. The Foundation provides a much-needed state-wide structure for recognizing and rewarding early childhood educators for high-quality services to young children, from birth through kindergarten, and their families, innovation in the field, and noteworthy support to children with special needs. In 2023, I was honored to be one of the first recipients for the Spring 2023 Awards. The best thing about teaching is getting to witness children meeting their goals. When something finally clicks, its MAGIC!
