I am excited to be apart of the CCS community. I graduated from UNCC in 2015 with a degree in Special Education. I worked as a vision therapist for 7 years, was a stay-at-home mom for 2 years, then worked my way back into the classroom - starting with tutoring, subbing, teaching assistant and this year will be my first year back as an EC Teacher for middle and high school.

I have been married to my best friend for 12 years, and we have 2 sons - one who is adopted and one who is biological. We enjoyed our time as foster parents to 7 other children as well.

My favorite hobbies include being out on the farm with our many chickens and turkeys, taking care of our garden, and fly fishing in the western NC mountains. I enjoy leading worship at church and working in the various children's ministries.
