This will be my third year teaching in the Charter School world, and I am very excited to be back here at Community Charter School! This is my 12th year of teaching. I taught grades 9-12 in Gaston County Schools for the first nine years of my teaching career. I am a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Charlotte where I earned my Bachelors in English and a minor in Secondary Education. I love to dive into the literature world and allow students the opportunity to experience different worlds through reading! I am extremely excited to be the advisor over our school's yearbook this year, as well as teaching the art of Journalism. Some of my hobbies are reading, traveling, spending time with my husband and kids, and watching sports!
