I am excited to begin another school year. I have been an educator for about 20 years! I started out as an elementary teacher, teaching all grades from kindergarten to fourth grade and now I am your CCS librarian. I love being in the library introducing students to wonderful stories from new titles to the old classics. I graduated from Appalachian State University with a bachelor’s degree in education and continued on to Montreat College to get my master’s in curriculum and instruction. I am still today a huge fan of App State and love cheering on my Mountaineers! You can usually find me all over town with my two daughters, cheering them on in all their sports and activities. Another passion of mine is serving at church where I lead several children’s ministries.
