I am a veteran teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience in Gaston County Schools. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Meredith College in Psychology and Elementary Education; and a Master’s Degree from Gardner Webb University in Elementary Education Grades K - 6; and I am National Board Certified in Early Childhood Education. I have worked most of my career in elementary schools but also spent some time in middle school. My husband and I have one son who is a junior at NCSU. We also have 2 rescue dogs and a rehomed dachshund. This is my fourth year at CCS and I serve as the testing coordinator.
