I grew up in Monroe, NC and graduated from high school in Union County. I graduated from UNC Charlotte, earning my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education K-6. This is my second year teaching at Community Charter School, where I now teach 6th grade math. This is my 4th year of teaching. I love teaching math and exploring the many ways that students learn and understand the content. Some of my hobbies are gardening, cooking/baking, canning, and spending time with my son.
