I am excited to begin my fifth year at CCS and feel grateful to be part of such a caring and dedicated school community. Building positive relationships with students and families is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Psychology from Meredith College and my Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Gardner-Webb University. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher in Early and Middle Childhood (Ages 3–8), a distinction that reflects my passion for providing high-quality instruction and helping every child reach their full potential. Before joining CCS, I taught elementary school in Gaston County Schools, where I later served as an Instructional Facilitator, supporting teachers and promoting student success.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My son, Drew, is a senior at North Carolina State University, and my husband and I have recently welcomed a new furry family member, Chipper, who keeps us smiling and entertained.
