Originally from western Massachusetts, I moved down to Charlotte in 2007 for a teaching position in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. I taught as a special education teacher serving students with Autism. I received a BS in Elementary and Special education from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY. I earned my masters in Literacy from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY. I have 9 years of teaching experience in exceptional children's program in NC and NY . I married into a southern family in 2010, and welcomed two children in 2012 and 2015. My children began attending CCS in 2020. I my leisure time, I enjoy being physically active through hiking, running, ice skating, and any type of exercise. I love expressing my creativity through photography. I am dedicated to the growth of CCS and its students.
