I am so honored to be teaching on the team at CCS. I grew up in Florida and had the unique experience of watching the space shuttle from my front yard. I completely fell in love with music as a small child. I played piano, sang in choir, played trumpet in every band class I could sign up for, played in “the pit” for musicals, and wrote my own songs. That passion led me to pursue music in college. I attended the University of Central Florida, received a B.M in music composition and a B.A with a focus on teaching piano. I also earned a M.A from Calvin Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, MI. Most of my career has been as a piano instructor, accompanist, and Church Music Director. I have over 20 years of experience teaching both children and adults to play music. My husband and I have 4 beautiful children and a very funny beagle. We love going camping and hiking together.
