Frieda Robinson

Board Member

My name is Freida Robinson. This is my second term on the CCS Board of Directors where I serve as the Chairman of the Human Resources Committee and am a member of the Facilities Committee.
I was a member of the last graduating class of Stanley High School and went on to receive my BA in Early Childhood Education from UNC-Greensboro. My teaching career spanned 31 years in Gaston County and Lincoln County. I retired from Lincoln County in 2008. During my tenure, I taught third, fourth, and fifth grade.
My husband, Bill, and I live on a farm where we raise black angus cows and chickens. We have two grown children (and their spouses) and five grandchildren. Our time is spent with family, traveling, and volunteering at our church.
One of my favorite quotes comes from the late President John F. Kennedy: “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest form of appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” (1963 Thanksgiving Day Proclamation)
