Growing up, I was the oldest child in a big family and have also enjoyed working with teens and children in my church family for as long as I can remember. I was recently a stay-at-home mom for about 6 years and before that I was an assistant teacher in a preschool in Winston Salem, NC. I have been married to my wonderful husband since 2012. We have two excitable little girls who love to be silly and an energetic, lovable chocolate lab named Ranger- a name we chose loosely based on Lord of the Rings character, Aragorn. If there is any downtime at home I enjoy spending it reading, making crafts or sleeping.
